Zatila started on the line of a busy restaurant group, replacing the printed posters, clipboards and whiteboards that cooks worked from every day.
Our story
From posters on the wall to one screen the whole team trusts.
Every kitchen has its own way of doing things: the build sheet taped above the grill, the prep list on the whiteboard, the cooling log on a clipboard that nobody can find at 9 pm. We built Zatila with a multi-location restaurant group, on their own line, during real service, to put all of that on one screen the whole team can trust.
The cooks told us what mattered. Type you can read from the fryer. Buttons you can hit with busy hands. A tablet that keeps going when the Wi-Fi doesn't. A timer that won't let a cooling check slip by. The owners told us the rest: change a recipe once and see it in every kitchen, and know what's late before a customer does.
Then we made setup the easy part. Owners send the files they already have, and Zatila sets up everything for them: menu guides, recipes, prep lists, checklists and timers, ready to review and approve.

Built for the line
Big type, big buttons and the words cooks already use. If it can't be read from across a busy kitchen, it doesn't ship.
Your recipes stay yours
Zatila sets up your kitchen from your own files, and you approve every change. Each restaurant's data is kept separately, and you can download it any time.
One honest price
A price per open location, unlimited tablets, and no charge for locations that aren't open yet.

Zatila is made and run by Calode LLC, a restaurant technology and marketing company in the United States. Calode helps restaurants take direct orders, grow online and run better kitchens, and Zatila is the kitchen part.
